Work to build Cardiff's long-awaited bus station in the Cardiff's Central Square could begin in weeks, pushing the official opening back to mid-2021. Construction has been expected to begin in March 2019, but so far not a single foundation has been laid in the ground.
Speaking on this subject, Councillor Joel Williams said: "This is shameful behaviour from Cardiff Labour. Cardiff has been without a bus station for over four years. We were promised a bus station would be operating now.
He added: "We shouldn't have bulldozed the existing bus station until we knew for certain there was going to be a replacement in a reasonable amount of time."
