In May 2015 Joel entered the Big Brother House, widely regarded as the most famous house in Great Britain.
Joel proved himself as a strong housemate and a passtionate individual with a strong moral compass. This, combined with his ambitious drive and meticulous attention to detail made Joel a favourite to the millions who tuned in to watch the 10 week show throughout the summer.
Joel was nominated for eviction 3 times and survived each time. He is known for making some of the series' most memorable moments, including, spending £2,500 on a frozen pizza. Joel was entertaining and stayed true to himself throughout the process. An interesting and comical article written after Joel left the house giving details of Joel's love of pizza can be found by clicking here.
After leaving the house he stated the following "This is an amazing, unique opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and as a aspiring politician it is crucial that I understand the needs and challenges of all not just a few. Big Brother has enabled me to meet some fantastic individuals, everyone has a story, everyone needs a chance and everyone should be given a chance. Thats why I want to be in politics, to bring about change you have to be part of the change and get involved"
Joel survived to the final week where he was bookies favourite to win the contest. He left the House in July finishing 2nd and 2015 Runner-Up. For more information about Joel please visit About Joel
